Omnisphere 2.6 Library Total Sounds: 14,806. Afrobeat Duo 2 Age of Clarity Age of Computations. Finally a Cheesy Sound! Forbidden Synth Gaga Vibralead GAIA. Dec 31, 2015 Has anybody created a sound set of patches for Omnisphere 2 that utilizes the ability to use custom samples yet? I'm surprised I haven't seen a whole lot of people capitalizing on that. The free omnisphere loops, samples and sounds listed here have been kindly uploaded by other users. If you use any of these omnisphere loops please leave your comments. Read the loops section of the help area and our terms and conditions for more information on how you can use the loops. The string/voices sounds in Lex Lugars track are nowhere to be found, infact, if the Omnisphere string presets was a food, I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. If you go into the bells library, I don’t think there is a simple bell sound everything sounds like church bells. So that's the bad news. The good news is that Omnisphere is a wonderful product with clear, gorgeous sound. It may not be what you wanted, but there's an outside chance it adds a unique element to your sound which puts you over the top. Best of luck.
Omnisphere Colossus is a collection of 600 patches (and 130 multis) for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 synth.
Having created factory patches for the release of Omnisphere 2, Colossus is my first commercial release for the synth and is aimed at cinematic underscore and Hollywood action music – though it will also be very useful for atmospheric electronica, ambient and neo-classical styles.
If you write for films, games or television, you will find enormous inspiration in the multitude of dynamic basslines, lo-fi drumloops, analogue and organic pads, emotional guitars, vivid synths, punchy basses, lyrical pianos, dramatic percussion, widescreen hits and impacts, expressive mallets and bells, ethereal textures and dark soundscapes.

“Another outstanding sound set! Matt’s sounds always make the instrument shine – and what an instrument he had to work with this time! Omnisphere 2 is arguably the biggest thing to hit in the last few years and Colossus takes it to a whole new level.”
Jason Graves (Tomb Raider, Dead Space, Until Dawn)
Colossus has been carefully designed to deliver the ultimate collection of synths, instruments, loops and textures for modern composing, heavily inspired by the work of Harry Gregson-Williams and James Newton Howard. Scores such as Deja Vu, Gone Baby Gone, Phone Booth, Total Recall, Bourne Legacy, Michael Clayton, The Equalizer and Salt have been major influences on this soundset.
However, this collection is not about emulation, but about vibe. It takes the baton from powerful and emotional modern film scores, and pushes them in new and useful directions, allowing the user to produce original but much in demand cinematic music.
“The Unfinished has done it again. Colossus is a hefty treasure chest full of pulsing and ambient gems. With most synth presets, I would normally mark off a couple as being useful, but with Colossus it is the other way round, with only a few I wouldn’t gravitate towards!”
Dave Buckley (The Town, Batman: Arkham Knight, The Good Wife)
As well as 600 patches, Colossus also includes 130 multis, combining and stacking various patches for instant inspiration. Each patch comes with careful programming on the modwheel, to allow quick and dynamic sound design.
Although Omnisphere Colossus uses no external audio/samples, it does require Omnisphere 2 to work.
Colossus is priced at £79.99 + VAT.
118 Patches / 24 new SoundSources (including Brass!) and 14 Multiple MIDI Channel Multis give you a powerful set of songwriting Mega Patches created by listening to popular songs from the 70’s until today and creating not just a single sound but virtually all of the instruments required to write music in one of a number different genres (POP, EDM, 80s Pop, 90s Pop, Trance and Trap). It’s also lots of fun to take sounds from the 70’s and mix them with sounds from today’s latest hit songs.
Listen to the audio demos, watch the patch walkthru video (and other support videos) and then imagine what YOU can do using the sounds in Radio Ready Vol 1!
“I am just 2 multis (!!) into Radio Ready and I have to say that you knocked it out of the park so far with this one that I do not know where the ball is. Amazing!!!”
– Constantin
This is the 24th library we have released for Omnisphere but is the first library designed to give songwriters Multiple MIDI Channel MULTIS that are designed for composers to call one up and immediately start writing music in multiple genres spanning over 30 years of popular music.
By calling up one of these 13 Multis, 6 – 8 patches are loaded up – each sound on its own MIDI Channel so that you can start writing. You don’t have to build your own starting template. It’s very easy to reselect different patches for use – but having a set of sounds loaded can help speed up the process of getting deeper into songwriting.
The Library also includes over 64MB of new samples including Keyboard (FM electric piano and a couple different grand piano samples) Bass, Pluck Synth (6 different ones) and Brass samples (4 different ones including Octave Brass, Trombones, Trumpets and Trap Brass). Omnisphere 2’s factory sample does not have any brass patches or samples – so these will be useful to many different genres of music.
This library includes 110 patches:
- 11 – BPM Patches (Bass / Guitar / Lead/ SFX and Synth).
- 4 – Bell Patches (includes new samples).
- 6 – Guitar Patches.
- 6 – Vox Patches.
- 10 – Keyboard Patches (includes new samples).
